Your success in using Chat GPT for email marketing depends on the quality of the prompts you use. Now we all know prompt engineering is an art, one could do a diploma in it. However, by quality I mean, how well you describe what you want from the email to the AI bot so it can give you exactly that. Now I can keep writing long paragraphs trying to explain that, but I feel an example would make my job a lot easier.
As you can see in the image beside, the prompt I gave to Chat GPT is a pretty long one. I didn’t just tell what the email message should be about but I started with a brief intro of the business name and the owner’s name as well as added a prompt to give a personalized touch to my email campaign.

You wouldn’t believe I have a personal folder in Chat GPT where I have a full history of emails I have generated through Chat GPT. Please don’t get me wrong, but there are some situations when you can’t figure out how to put words in the email to communicate your message to the other person properly.
Like, I will share with you a situation I faced and I couldn’t find appropriate words to deny something to a potential client of mine. As you can see from the image beside, I was facing difficulty in saying ‘No’ to my client for something I did not have expertise in. Clearly, I needed help in writing a polite response with a no and so I resorted to Chat GPT.
From the image, you can again see the length of my prompt. I made sure to tell the AI bot that it was an email written to a potential client, I explained what my concern was and then with a hyphen added a paragraph from the email I was writing a response to.
3. Video Scrips
If video content is your daily requirement and you often find yourselves stuck when it comes to using creative ways to, say, share a piece of knowledge through the video, Chat GPT can come in handy. As for me, I am not a YouTuber and most of my Instagram videos are short-form videos that don’t need much of scripting.
However successful content creators rely on AI tools to make their videos seamless and engaging. Here are 3 ways you can use Chat GPT for your videos:
- Break down a long boring paragraph into small punchy one-liners that can be spoken with much ease.

It’s not always about using Chat GPT to write summaries or convert something into a simpler language, it’s about those clever tactics such as within SEO that can be learned to make use of in the small business. Now one has to have a decent knowledge about the subject at hand to be able to go deeper into it with the help of Chat GPT.

How cool isn’t it?
